Stream Eight is here!Stream organisation and Matt Current would like to invite you to the best demoparty in Finland! It has been a long run from our first party in 2003 to this date, but we are more than happy to continue organising these parties for the great and active demoscene audience.
The most notable change from previous years is the date, as this years Stream will be held on late spring instead of autumn. Hopes are high for a summerish weather.

Food and drinks can be brought from the sales desk at the party place. Few markets, a grill and a pizza place are also located close by (check the map below). A nearby bus stop will allow visits to the Tampere city centre where several restaurants are located.

Whether a scene veteran or a newbie who have just found the demoscene, we love nothing more than seeing you at the party! Almost 200 visitors attended Stream 7 last year and made the party one of a kind.
TicketsThe ticket price from the door is 25€ and 20€ if paid in advance, before 13th of may. An exception is made for visitors arriving from abroad as they are not required to pay the ticket in advance in order to get the lower price.
Please note that in order to attend the party you must receive an invitation! See below for information about invitations.
Stream is a non-profit event and all the gathered income after organising expenses will be paid as prizes to the competition winners.
InvitationsEveryone who have attended previous Stream events are automatically invited. New attendees need to get an invitation from organisers or from someone who has already been invited.
This is not to restrict anyone from coming to the party. Everyone is more than warmly welcome as long as he/she shares our interest in the demoscene or digital art in general.
Account SystemEvery visitor has an account in our intranet system. Accounts are linked to RFID tags and are used to identify you at the sales desk. At the sales desk the RFID tags are charged for your purchases.
You can deposit credits at the info desk (NOT at the sales desk) and should you buy tickets in advance you may deposit credits at the same time.
It is possible to use your existing RFID tag (bus card etc.) alternatively you can buy a tag from the party. Our RFID readers read only the unique ID of RFID tag and do not perform any alterations.
The purpose of this arrangement is to minimise the need to handle cash. We hate cash!
